For those who like to Groove

For those of you who have been itching to dance and can't seem to find a place, here you are. I've been following these guys throughout 2010 and they go deep.

Deep into the morning. Wear you winter gear there but dress to dance and expect to sweat. Beat the cold.

House music all night long, SAY WHAT?! House music all night long, SAY WHAT?!

The Good Ketchup

As a big part of who I am and what I do involve marketing, I take the opportunity to listen in and follow some of the marketing gurus of our time. Seth Godin is one of them. This blog entry of his stood out mainly because of my love for Heinz ketchup and the nostalgia of it all. At the same time there's always a valid message. Have a quick read and ponder some of the things you buy based on memories.

A Timeless Classic

Herb Alperts "Rise" was a track I listened to as a child back in San Francisco. It was the soundtrack to the stories my uncle would tell me about when he would visit NYC in the days of Studio 54. Since then its always been a song that would fuel my fantasies of living here.

And here I am.

Enjoy.

Reflecting on a summer past 2010

So I hosted a few Sunday afternoon dance parties call the Boogie Buffet along with Rain Bermudez here in Fort Green this past summer and for the finale I brought it back to the rooftop where I started...my place.

Heres a quick video of the production shot and edited by Rey Figueroa.

The Clinton Hill cocktail w/ Absolut Brooklyn

I created this cocktail for the summer inspired by the people and the vibe of Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. This also commemorates Spike Lee's collaboration with Absolut Vodka in creating the Absolut Brooklyn flavor. Sip and tell.
